In Flipside, you place your pieces so that you end up with more pieces of your own colour than pieces of your opponents colour. You can only place pieces that surround some of your opponent’s pieces. These surrounded pieces are then converted to pieces of your own color. FlipSide is played with a time limit of five minutes for each player.
Controls (keys)

Controls (touch screen)
Place a new piece by tapping the destination square on the playfield.
How to win
You win either by having more pieces than your opponent or with your opponent running out of game session time. The game is replayed if no player can place another piece or when all 64 pieces have been placed and no winner can be decided (both players have exactly the same amount of pieces).
Time limits
The game session time limit is five minutes for each player. On each player's turn, his or her timer starts ticking, stopping once the move is made. If a player's game session time reaches zero, he or she loses.
