Hobo is an evolved game of tic-tac-toe. Here, you try to get six in a row. The first player places a single X on the board, then the players take turns in placing respectively two O's and X's per turn. The last moves are highlighted in red and in addition indicated by arrows if they are off screen.
Controls (keys)
Move the cursor on the screen using the directional keys. To draw your symbol, press the action key. Since the board is too big to fit on the screen, the screen is automatically updated to show the area around the cursor. During the other player's turn you can freely scroll around the board.
Controls (touch screen)
Draw a symbol by tapping on the destination square on the playfield. The screen is automatically updated to show the area around the cursor if it moves near the edge of the screen.
How to win
You win either by managing to connect six of your symbols in a row or with your opponent running out of game session time.
Time limits
The game session time limit is five minutes for each player. On each player's turn, his or her timer starts ticking, stopping once the move is made. If a player’s game session time reaches zero, he or she automatically loses.
